The International Graduate Academy (InGrA) offers doctoral students of Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg appointments for discussions and advice (20 min each) on topics related to the doctoral studies.

Enrolment for student's status

Doctoral students have the additional option of obtaining student status (in German "Promotionsstudent/in"). Enrollment as a is done by the Enrollment Office. The necessary documents can be handed in personally or sent by post. The following documents should be submitted:

  • a completed “Antrag auf Zulassung zum Studium” form
  • a legally attested copy of your university degree certificate
  • written confirmation by your academic supervisor on the topic of the dissertation and the anticipated period of supervision (on letterhead paper)
  • passport size photo for your student ID (Uni-Service-Card)
